Goal and Vision

To honour India’s rich textile heritage by preserving its craftsmanship and reinterpreting it for the modern woman. Palki envisions creating timeless couture that transcends seasons—where tradition, innovation, and personal stories come together as an enduring legacy.

Our Story

At Palki, couture is not merely created—it is inherited, interpreted, and reimagined.

Founded by Mrs. Lata Harlalka and carried forward with Mrs. Anvesha Harlalka and Mr. Vikram Harlalka, the atelier stands as a celebration of India’s enduring textile legacy. Each piece reflects a deep reverence for craft, where age-old techniques meet a modern sensibility.

Our collections traverse bridal lehengas, sarees, and Indo-Western ensembles—each designed for moments that are intimate, significant, and timeless. Rooted in heritage weaves like Benarasi, brocades, and silks, every fabric is thoughtfully transformed through intricate processes—hand-dyeing, printing, and meticulous embellishments such as mukaish, dabka, and zardosi.

At the heart of Palki lies a commitment to authenticity—celebrating real brides, real stories, and garments that become a part of one’s personal legacy. Silhouettes are crafted with a nuanced balance of tradition and innovation, where structure meets fluidity, and detail becomes identity.

Designed by Lata and Anvesha Harlalka alongside a skilled in-house team of artisans and designers, each creation is a testament to craftsmanship, patience, and the beauty of Indian couture.

Palki is not just what you wear—it is what you carry forward.

A Note From The Founder

Palki was born from a simple yet profound love—for Indian textiles, craftsmanship, and the stories they carry.

From the very beginning, my vision was to create garments that honour our heritage while becoming a part of life’s most cherished moments. I have always believed that true luxury lies in the hands that craft, the traditions we preserve, and the emotions we weave into every piece.

What started as a personal passion has grown into something far more meaningful—with each bride, each celebration, and each creation adding to its journey. Seeing it evolve and be carried forward with the same values is deeply fulfilling.

Palki, to me, is not just a label—it is a legacy of craft, culture, and continuity.
